THE HUNTED is a sword-slinging, vampire-slaying internet series that's based on user content, which means episodes can be shot by virtually anyone anywhere. The episodes are 5-10 minutes long and shot "reality-TV" style, which means you don't need all that fancy-schmancy equipment. For more information on creating a Hunted episode, check out our tips page.
NEW CATEGORIES!!!
Now with over $2000 in cash and prizes, professional Hollywood judges, a 48 hour film contest, and a chance to appear in the Hunted feature film, there are more reasons than ever to shoot a freakin Hunted episode.

This year, in addition to our $1000 grand prize, qualified episodes will be seen in the climax of The Hunted Feature Film currently in production. For more info on how to be a part of this awesomeness, click here.

Also new this year is our 48hr film competition to be held at SlayerCon (aka Combat Con) in Las Vegas on July 6-8. Winning entries shot at Combat Con 2012 will qualify for bragging rights as well as an extra $250 in prize money in addition to the $1000 grand prize and chance to appear in the feature film.
Finalists will be seen by a panel of Hollywood professionals - Directors, Writers, Producers, Stunt Coordinators, Agents, etc. Click here for a list of past judges. Thanks to our first contest, Kendall Wells from Oregon not only landed a featured role on "Leverage", he also signed with a top Hollywood agent. And like many of our contest winners, he quickly became one of our top affiliates with his own series.
And finally, winning episodes will receive featured placement on The Hunted website, Youtube Channel, Facebook, and screenings at upcoming film festivals.
So go for it. There's no cost to enter and you keep all rights to your video. Still not convinced? Check out our Top Ten reasons to shoot a Hunted Episode

No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win. Entries submitted and judged by past Hunted contests are ineligible. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Not sure why the contest would be prohibited anywhere and my advice would be to leave wherever it is you're not allowed to shoot a Hunted episode.
If you are not registered with Youtube, you will be required to create a free user account. Once registered with YouTube, upload your video and send the link to contest@thehunted.tv. The link to your video link can be found either in your browser window or by pressing the share button directly beneath the Youtube video.
The Hunted and/or organizers of this contest will not be held responsible in any way should the entrant fail to post his or her video properly or have their video removed from Youtube. Videos must comply with policies and community guidelines of YouTube.com. This means no copywritten music or other content that can be considered copyright infringement, and while harsh language and violence are an inherit part of the series, profanity is bleeped and depicted violence is not overly graphic.
